South Florida star receiver Andre Davis of Jefferson high (FL) has been a top name in the 2011 class. Davis is a premier wide out with written offers from the nation's best programs. Recently Davis announced his top 7 list of schools. Recently he's heard from a few new colleges and has added to his list of top programs.
"Georgia hopped back in the mix for me recently," said Davis. "After a camp up there they started sending me mail again. They invited me to a game or two, so I'm going to get something set up there. I guess I'm kind of up to a top 8 now with them back in the mix."
The recent list of 7 includes: USF, FSU, Miami, Rutgers, Kansas, Texas tech, and West Virginia. Davis claims he will likely take all five official visits and will likely take them to out of state schools.
"Rutgers, Texas Tech, USF, and FSU are coming hard right now. I want to make my early decision so I can enroll early. I haven't set up any visits yet but I'll start doing that real soon. I've just been focused on our season which starts tomorrow. I feel much stronger, faster right now. My routes are better and I'm very confident out there."
